YMCA Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya is a year-round recreational and educational center operated by the Greater Green Bay YMCA. Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya has been offering dynamic, safe, and mission-driven programs for children, teens, families, and groups since 1937. Located 65 miles north of Green Bay in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest on the shores of Chute Pond, Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya has 140 acres of woodlands, three bodies of water, excellent facilities, dedicated staff, and extensive program opportunities throughout each season of the year.
The Outdoor Environmental Education Program is a school classroom without boundaries which caters to thousands of 5th-8th grade students each year. Class sessions focus on a variety of subject areas including biology, history, math, and recreation.
Full-time seasonal (30-40 hours/week): beginning Fall 2017

Provide leadership and instruction of hands-on outdoor/environmental education classes to students in 5th - 8th grades. Supervise evening programs and free-time activities as needed.
Demonstrated youth leadership experience, good overall leadership skills, a cooperative attitude and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Degree in Outdoor Recreation, Environmental Studies, Education, or related field highly preferred.
The desire and ability to work with and understand the needs of school age students.
Desire and willingness to work in a natural camp setting, in a variety of weather conditions through the changing seasons.
CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required; training provided.
Current lifeguard certification preferred; training provided.
Physically able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Considerable physical movement (hiking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, games, etc.) required.
