Tennessee Water Program Manager
Senior level business group leadership in the Tennessee market responsible for developing and managing the water program within established company direction and goals. Develop and lead water, wastewater, stormwater and water resource business activities in cooperation with regional and local managers.
Specific job responsibilities include:
Develop, lead and manage Tennessee Water Business Group in conjunction with HDR’s Area leadership
Participate in development of annual strategic planning in coordination with regional efforts.
Collaborate with area and regional leadership to implement key initiatives, key hires, investments and strategies for growth and increase profitability.
Oversee project delivery resources in order to assure positive project outcomes for our clients
Assure quality control program implementation on projects of all sizes
Manage internal business processes and participate in annual business planning activities
Assess and develop new markets, trends, business opportunities and improve existing client relationships and services.
Support development of strong client relationships and serve as a key client manager.
Provide staff training, development, and serve as a mentor.
Participate in business and community activities representing HDR to promote HDR services.
Serve as a company role model in business and community.
BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
15+ years of experience in the Water/Wastewater industry required; specific experience with Tennessee-area clientele is preferred.
Must be a registered Professional Engineer.
Experience in leading Business Development activities with proven success.
Must have experience developing design concepts and formulating engineered solutions for complex technical problems.
Must demonstrate a high level of creativity, foresight and judgment in planning, organizing and guiding extensive programs and activities.
Experience in Project Management with large, multi-disciplined projects; this should include developing project budgets, schedules, and staffing plans commensurate with project scope.
Must have strong organizational, math and PC skills.
Must have the ability to manage and serve as a technical resource for design staff.
