National conservation organization seeks a regular, full-time Conservation Finance Program Manager. Position is responsible for evaluating on-the-ground project readiness and feasibility associated with proposals to the Innovative Finance for National Forests (IFNF) Grant Program and helping manage and/or providing oversight of select conservation finance projects. Duties include: Evaluation and monitoring; technical assistance and project development; relationship management, and thought leadership. Read Position Description for more... A Master’s Degree in Natural Resources or conservation finance-related field fields is preferred, and/or five years’ experience with proven results in forestry or conservation project management and resulted community-based collaborative conservation to include a strong knowledge of and experience in U.S. Forest Service policies, procedures and regulations. Ability to work independently, represent the NFF in a clear and professional manner through excellent written and oral communication skills, and collaboratively manage programs. Able to set priorities, work remotely, and work well in a team-oriented environment and is committed to the NFF mission.
This position is located in Missoula, Montana or Denver, Colorado and requires frequent travel. Salary range $50,000-$70,000 range. Excellent compensation package. No phone inquiries.
