ReVision Energy is looking for a Director for our In-House Training Center - RETC to join us in this Company Wide role. The ideal candidate must be located in ME, NH, or MA to properly support Co-owners and Apprentices.

The ReVision Energy Training Center (RETC) is ReVision Energy’s in house technical and professional development program. The RETC Director is a new role and will work together with senior leadership and the HR team to develop the long term strategic vision for training and talent development within ReVision Energy. The Director will be responsible for building systems, and processes. This person will also design, implement, administer, and conduct training programs at all levels of the organization. The RETC director will have overall responsibility to develop, coordinate and manage talent development programs including ReVision’s industry first electrical apprentice training program, new hire installer training, technical and installation training, safety training, leadership development trainings, sales, design and engineering trainings, as well as ESOP / B-Corp culture education and all other training and development programs necessary to maintain the world class team of co-owners that has helped make ReVision the #1 rooftop solar contractor in New England.
The RETC Director will be responsible for coordinating and sometimes facilitating trainings. The role will ensure alignment with core values, strategic business objectives and maintain high quality standards in instructional design and development for all methods of program delivery. This person will report to the HR Director while having collaborative connections with all directors and functional group leaders within RE. They will provide on-going consultation with strategic teams throughout ReVision to help identify and prioritize new training opportunities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Work with company senior leadership to develop overall strategic vision for RETC.
Oversee the administration and delivery of ReVision Energy Technical Training programs including but not limited to new hire orientation, PV 101, electrical apprenticeship program, new technology training,
Oversee the courses and learning plans pertaining to the Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire Electrical Apprenticeship programs
Partner with local subject matter experts to help design and deliver training programs that meet the business needs and objectives and contribute to a pipeline of future Leaders by fostering a learning environment that promotes personal and professional growth.
Coordinate sales and customer service training for all new and existing sales and marketing positions
Conduct needs assessments with co-owners and leadership teams and use the data to provide consultation on ways to close gaps from current to desired future state in employee effectiveness, performance and engagement.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training; assess and determine cost and benefits of training methods / programs
Demonstrate exceptional project management skills: create project plans, manage project implementation, provide thought leadership, and engage with stakeholders to gather and share data
Provides advice and strategic thinking to senior leadership as requested
Use Microsoft Teams or other learning management software tools and programs for the successful delivery of on-line programs
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, or HR, with relevant business, organizational development, change management, consulting and HR functional experience.
BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
2-4 years’ leadership experience with proven leadership and change management skills
Ability to prioritize and effectively communicate objectives.
Ability to collaborate with leadership teams throughout ReVision, anticipate training and development needs across the company and manage resources to provide timely and reliable results

Exceptional Project Management skills, experience with managing multiple projects, with multiple stakeholders simultaneously

Knowledge and experience in utilizing organizational development models and assessment tools
Understanding of adult learning theory, change management, brain science and evolving L&D practices and modalities
Able to quickly adopt new methods and tools
Training facilitation (in-person and virtual)
Business partner coaching and consulting
Business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams etc.) as well as project management tools
