ReVision Energy’s North Andover MA location is looking for someone to join the team in this Operations Specialist role.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Operations Specialist plays a key role in managing the Residential solar installation teams and job queue while assuring the highest quality installation experience for our clients. The Operations Specialist works together with the Solar Design Specialist, Scheduling Coordinator, and Purchasing Manager to guide each project from the design phase, to under contract stage, all the way through to completion. The Operations Specialist will assist with training, maintaining installation standards amongst crews, increasing operational efficiency, and driving down cost while ensuring high technical and quality standards. In addition, there will be project closeout responsibilities to assist with timely project completion.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but not limited to):
Work closely with the Solar Design Specialists and assist them on proper design approach and technical guidance.
Review and approve design and material lists for sold projects
Update ZoHo CRM database to reflect approved materials and project progress
Coordinate with the Scheduler, Project Managers, and Purchasing Manager to ensure jobs are moving through process efficiently and scheduled appropriately
Work with the Operations and Purchasing managers to confirm all required components for residential projects are ordered and in stock prior to scheduled installation date
Assist Branch Managers with training, installation standards, and process flow to drive operational efficiency
Assist office and engineering team with permitting documents and COC information requests, including but not limited to: snow load analysis, Structural Analysis-Plan set development, meeting and coordination with AHJs
Respond and troubleshoot incoming service calls, assist scheduler with deploying proper crews, helps stand for inspections in case there is a need for licensed help.
Assist with project closeouts, inspections and customer walk-throughs, providing a handoff to customer that further cements excellent customer service
Must have strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and set priorities in a high pressure environment
Must be able to work self-guided in a fast paced and growing environment
High amount of competence in SHW/PV systems
Good at problem solving and possesses great teamwork skills – ability to foster a positive team environment
Must bring a positive attitude; thoughtful ideas for growth of the company are encouraged
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and other commonly used software, including internet and e-mail
Working knowledge of Google Sketch Up, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project
Must have good customer service skills as well as good oral and written communication skills
Flexibility – adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes with change.
Proactive – acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the process and procedures
