Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager with a relevant experience to effectively develop and manage project work related to large remediation and related environmental projects. This opportunity offers an exciting growth position within Triumvirate’s fastest growing region for an individual with the right experience and proven track record as a Seller/Doer. This candidate should have a successful record executing similar projects in the NY/NJ region. This candidate should be well networked and understand the regulatory landscape of the surrounding region. Candidates should be self-motivated and be able to thrive in a strong team environment.
Our successful candidate will manage high level environmental projects, expand the scope of services provided to our existing clients, and build new client relationships.
Oversees a portfolio of diverse environmental projects
Serves as a key client contact managing all client interactions including contract management, senior project oversight, expert technical input, and financial and resource allocation for all related Field
Services project work (e.g. tank removals and cleaning, large decontaminations, subsurface site remediation, and compliance related support efforts).
Prepares contract proposals and cost estimates
Collaborates with the Site Operations Supervisor to target new areas and opportunities for business growth within the Industrial, Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Educational Niches.
Supervises technical staff on project deliverables and milestones.
Provides senior review and approval of documents and deliverables
Ensures that all team members adhere to Triumvirate Environmental Health & Safety standards in all project and field-related activities
Conducts sales presentations and informational seminars for potential clients
Calls on and meets with clients and prospects to assist in the sales of our services
Generates leads and develops new business opportunities through client prospect development and networking
Identifies and tracks market trends and performs competitor research and analysis
Generates and participates in all aspects of bid and proposal preparation
Attends and networks at industry related conferences, exhibitions, associations, and functions
Skills & Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related scientific major
5+ years of related technical environmental consulting experience with site investigation, remediation, decontamination, and compliance and management of related environmental projects
2+ years of business development experience is highly preferred. Business development experience should include: generating leads, creating proposals, conducting sales presentations, and meeting relevant sales goals.
Advanced knowledge of environmental regulations in New York City, New Jersey and surrounding regions
Established relationships with NY and NJ regulatory authorities a plus
Qualified candidates will also be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain an account for an extended period of time as a result of client satisfaction
Must possess excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, organizational, technical writing, presentation, and client service skills
