Sr. Environmental Technologist - East Coast Region

This position is responsible for leading the development and execution of unique and/or customized technology solutions, particularly related to issues from chemicals/emerging contaminants (CEC).

Our Senior Environmental Technologist careers provide you with the opportunity to generate and deliver new business with precious clients. Each day, you will serve as a technical leader in chemicals/issues with emerging contaminants within our site remediation and revitalization practice. You should be a self-motivated professional with 15 years demonstrated experience as a subject matter expert in emerging contaminants; be capable of demonstrating current relationships with existing clients; and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each Senior Environmental Technologist project.

 

Our Senior Environmental Technologists:

Have existing experience with strategy development and execution of site investigation and remediation project execution.

Perform as thought leaders in their areas of expertise.

Build strong relationships with commercial clients to solve their toughest challenges.

Ensure quality of projects and efficiency of project delivery.

Act as a senior technical consultant on projects involving environmental services and technologies.

Create CH2M market domination and differentiation.

Capture technology innovation to value price, shape markets, and partner to implement the technology mission and shape CH2M strategies.

 

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related Engineering degree

15 years environmental-related experience

Subject matter expert in emerging contaminants

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

MS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related Engineering degree

16 plus years environmental-related experience

Excellent communication skill set, both verbal and written

Experience in building strong relationships with clients

 

Additional Information: CH2M will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g. H1-B, etc.) for this position. The ideal candidate will live on East Coast and preference will be given for candidates in this region.
