This person will provide support on a variety of engineering projects including water, wastewater, and infrastructure. Specific duties may include the following:
Provide design support on a variety of environmental engineering projects;
Conduct technical evaluations to support planning and design related to water and wastewater linear infrastructure systems, pumping systems, water and wastewater treatment systems;
Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and miscellaneous contract documents;
Support construction projects with office and field engineering services (submittal review, contract document interpretation, inspection) when required;
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field required;
Candidates are required to have at a minimum an EIT in the state of Nevada, PE preferred;
Minimum of 2 years of increasingly-responsible, professional experience in the study, design, and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater facilities; 2 to 10 years’ experience desired;
Candidate should be versatile and interested in working on a variety projects supporting Engineering Services;
Demonstrated experience in preparation of engineering calculations and equipment selection including hydraulics and pumping systems at a minimum;
Demonstrated experience in preparing water and wastewater plan and profile drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D;
Excellent technical writing and communication skills required;
Demonstrated proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation;
Candidate should be a self-starter, results-oriented, and have the ability to work and excel under tight deadlines.
