The Project Environmental Scientist will join an experienced team of project managers, scientists, and engineers in our Shelton or Middletown CT office with an ability to work on multidisciplinary projects with staff from our nine regional offices.

5-8 years of environmental consulting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Civil/Environmental Engineering
On track to become a Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP)
Significant experience conducting site investigations and remediation with additional experience with brownfields, PCB, and demolition helpful
Ability to develop business and secure new clients to help grow our expanding business
Preferred candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of being able to work both independently on specific assignments and as part of a large team on multidisciplinary projects
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and multitasking environment, must embrace challenges and details, be resourceful, and have great organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Provide environmental consulting for site investigations and remedial design and implementation for brownfields, development, and Transfer Act projects
Additional responsibilities include specification writing, permitting, and report preparation.
