Oil Spill Drill Specialist (Environmental Planner 3)
The Department of Ecology for the State of Washington is looking to fill an Oil Spill Drill Specialist (Environmental Planner 3) position. The position is flexible to either be located at our Headquarters Building or our Northwest Regional Office (NWRO).
The Program mission is to protect Washington's environment, public health, and safety through a comprehensive spill prevention, preparedness and response program.

What is the Job?
As the Oil Spill Drill Specialist, you will be a key resource in the continual evolution of our state's planning and drill program, in a way that keeps oil spill plans effective, oil spill teams well trained and spill preparedness improved from lessons learned. Ideal applicants possess effective leadership skills that motivate others. Must be well-organized, understand how to manage projects and have an eye for details and accuracy when making observations. The work is statewide and travel is an expected part of the job. We are looking for someone that is flexible to changing processes and is open to making improvements to overall performance.
