We are currently seeking an Environmental Engineer/Scientist for our Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice in Bellevue, WA. In this role you will work as part of a team to provide high-level scientific support for projects centering on the fate and transport of aqueous-soil-aquifer constituents, water resources and hydrogeology, and environmental risk.

The ideal candidate will draw upon a deep understanding of environmental science and engineering to solve complex environmental problems and is willing to expand his/her area of expertise into emerging environmental issues including, but not limited to contaminants of emerging concern, climate change impacts on environmental quality, and evolving policy related to water resources.


You will have the following skills and qualifications:

Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Earth Sciences, or a related field

Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills

Proficient knowledge of interfacial geochemistry, geochemical modeling, and hydrogeology

Experience with fate and transport modeling, hydrologic modeling (e.g. MODFLOW)

Flexibility to adapt and learn quickly

Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, and manage time effectively

Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines

Exposure to sensitive information will necessitate considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment
