Job Requirements:

7 to 10 years of experience within the environmental industry

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, environmental science, or an equivalent field

Working knowledge of Federal and New Jersey environmental compliance regulations that include, but are not limited to the following:

Clean Air Act/ NJDEP Air Permitting Regulations – GPs, PCPs and Title V

Proficient with the use of NJDEP Radius

Clean Water Act/New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (Wastewater and Industrial Stormwater Permitting)

Underground Storage Tank Regulations (Compliance Inspections)

Oil Pollution Prevention Regulations/SPCC Planning

Safe Drinking Water Regulations

RCRA/ NJDEP Solid and Hazardous Waste Regulations

Familiar with New Jersey compliance regulations and the performance of multi-media regulatory compliance inspections of industrial, commercial and public facilities

Familiarity with the NJDEP Technical Requirements for Site Remediation, specifically, Preliminary Assessments

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with a diverse group of people, including non-technical staff

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Excel and Access

Valid driver’s license

 

Preferred:

40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training
