Tighe & Bond is seeking an energetic, highly qualified Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) to join the growing teams in our Shelton or Middletown, CT office. The individual hired for this outstanding opportunity will focus providing environmental consulting for site investigations, remedial design and implementation, and project management for brownfields, development, and Transfer Act projects. Additional responsibilities include: business development, proposal preparation, client management, brownfields consultation, data analysis, remedial design, demolition design, specification writing, permitting, and report preparation.
Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) registration required
Significant experience conducting site investigations, remediation and environmental and brownfields consulting, CT and PCB regulation experience
Candidates must possess a BS degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil/Environmental Engineering
Preferred candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of being able to work both independently on specific assignments and as part of a large team on multidisciplinary projects
Excellent written, oral, public speaking, and listening skills
Ideal candidates will have a strong educational background and good interpersonal skills. Previous work experience/internships that show self-motivation and ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a team will be viewed as beneficial. Strong ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally is also an absolute requirement.
