Golder has a new opportunity for a Senior Air Consultant to join our Central Operations team in a Full-Time (25 hours a week) position in Las Vegas, NV. Reporting to the Central Operations Leader.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Provide senior review and technical guidance related to air permitting, air emissions estimation, dispersion modeling, and regulatory interpretation internally to air quality team and externally to clients;
Participate in compliance audits and meetings with regulatory agencies;
Review technical reports;
Support air consulting proposal efforts and client development;
Provide guidance in regional and national air quality program development.
Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering/Sciences or related field;
More than 20 years of related experience in air consulting related fields – air permitting, air emissions, dispersion modelling, compliance audits, regulatory interpretation, agency negotiations, expert testimony;
Knowledge of New Source Review regulations, New Source Performance Standards, Prevention of Significant Deterioration, Title V permitting, and Federal MACT standards;
Knowledge of air quality regulations and air modeling procedures based on USEPA and international guidelines, such as those developed by the World Bank and International Finance Corporation;
Ability to participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies;
Ability to lead complex air consulting proposal efforts and to review technical reports.
