Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Lead Environmental Specialist at our Dundalk Marine Terminal Facility in Baltimore, MD. This position provides project management, technical oversight, and staff supervision for the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Port Administration’s water quality programs with a focus on NPDES/MS4 compliance.
Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, engineering, ecology or a related field from an accredited college or university plus five years of experience in environmental science, regulations, engineering or management, two years of which must have included responsibility managing environmental projects. Applicants may substitute an applicable advanced education degree for up to two years of experience. Must possess strong verbal, technical writing and interpersonal skills and be able to pass a background check in order to obtain a TWIC badge.
Estimated Pay Range:
$55,000 - $65,000
