Environmental Professional (Mid-Level)

Tyndall AFB FL

AGEISS Inc. is looking to place a Mid-Level Environmental Professional on site at Tyndall AFB, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide professional and technical environmental consultative services; guidance and interpretations of environmental laws, regulations, and instructions; and support in achieving compliance with environmental regulations.

Prepare reports and letters regarding compliance and permitting.

Monitor environmental activities as required by the Environmental Element Chief.

Collect, review, and evaluate performance data and other pertinent technical reports.

Review environmental permit applications prepared by others. Maintain application compliance with Federal, state, and local municipal rules and regulations.

Inspect projects associated with stormwater, wastewater, drinking water, dewatering activities, wetlands, and air emission units.

Communicate, attend meetings, and initiate and complete work with other groups pertaining to projects (design reviews, permits, inspections, etc.).

 

Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in a related scientific or engineering field.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in a related engineering or scientific field, preferably with the Department of Defense (DoD) or Air Force.

Experience within the Air Force Civil Engineering career field is preferred.

Experience with environmental laws, regulations, and instructions; compliance with environmental regulations; and environmental permit applications is preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with a diverse and multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge of Federal, state, and/or local regulations and statutes, as well as Air Force or DoD regulations and documentation is preferred.

Ability to obtain/maintain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) and government Common Access Card (CAC) is required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
