Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. is looking for an mid-level Project Regulatory Specialist to join our team. This position serves as liaison between regulatory agencies and clients for permit procurement.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of previous relevant experience, project management, and DEQ/COE regulatory experience is a plus. Experience working with a diverse client base in both public and private sectors, as well as the ability to work independently and with a team is a must.
Minimum qualifications include B.A./B.S. in environmental planning, science or policy and a basic knowledge of environmental regulations pertaining to 401/404 Clean Water Act and Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act; knowledge of AutoCAD®, local land development practices, NEPA, FEMA or FERC regulations is a plus. Superior oral and written communications skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines under limited supervision are a must.
