Plan, develop, and implement public outreach and environmental education program for a Marine Corps client's natural resource program, including briefing military and non-military personnel on various natural resources issues, coordinating volunteer projects, conducting education talks and seminars for schools, community groups, and members of the public, leading volunteer field trips, developing outreach and educational materials , including pamphlets and CDs, and improving and managing the natural resources website. Collaborate with partner regulatory resource agencies. Use outreach activities to support the client's plan's goals and objectives.
-Experience in working with volunteers
-Knowledge of native Hawaiian flora and fauna
-Knowledge of the Microsoft product suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
-HS diploma or GED
-Knowledge of website and graphics design
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including interacting with the military, their families, the base civilian workforce, and the local community effectively
