Education Solutions Associate

Washington DC


The Education Solutions Team delivers best-in-class green building education that supports learners of all ages in support USGBC’s vision of creating sustainable communities for all. Key responsibilities of this position include: team operations support; product development, delivery and evaluation; member engagement; and management of the education stakeholder network. This position will support a wide array of education solutions, such as stakeholder networks, live webinars, on-demand courses, and continuing education reporting.

In collaboration with other Education Solutions team members, this individual will provide capacity building, greater access to existing and new markets, and value creation to the mission of USGBC. The position is based in Washington, D.C.


Operational Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to customer questions

Track education deliverables to report to leadership

Assist in tracking member engagement, providing usage reports of the Education @USGBC platform, communicating content updates and supporting additional retention services

Other duties as assigned


Education Stakeholder Support

Set up new courses to be hosted on Education @USGBC

Support Pro Reviewer program

Assist in supporting Education Partner program

Fulfill requests for complimentary access to Education @USGBC courses and the @USGBC subscription

Serve as primary contact to complimentary credentialing organizations, such as AIA and LA CES

Provide program administration for USGBC Faculty and USGBC Education Partners to include organizing bi-monthly stakeholder briefings, hosting calls, coordinating logistics, managing resource database and monitoring new applications for USGBC Faculty

Review USGBC Education Partner courses as part of the quality control process

Support development of staff education through testing content and tracking feedback


USGBC Education content development support:

Project management for new education products

Assist with education products under development

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

2+ years of experience in a professional office environment


Other Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong computer skills including demonstrated fluency with MS Suite (Word, Excel + PowerPoint), G Suite, and Salesforce (preferred)

Experience with audio/video tools and design software programs (preferred)

Ability to adapt and anticipate needs based on market-specific and organizational priorities

Strong interpersonal, customer service and relationship-building skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Superior organizational skills

Productive, proactive, disciplined and efficient

Confident in skill-set and how that ensures that the work is done well and with attention to detail

Broadly interested in sustainability and green building

LEED GA preferred or commitment to earning within the first 12 months of employment
