Join our staff of Sound to Sea Instructors at Sound to Sea Summer Day Camp. Explore the five major island habitats: the beach, maritime forest, freshwater pond, salt marsh and sound with your group of 12 campers. Help campers appreciate the outdoors and everything it has to offer. Learn best teaching practices for younger students. Facilitate camp songs, arts and crafts, and games. Help supervise swim time.
Care for birds of prey, salt and fresh water aquariums, and other education animals.
Bring your kayak or SUP, flip flops and sunscreen and enjoy your off time by exploring the coast!
Benefits: stipend of $250-280 per week plus room and board just feet from the dunes. All meals provided.
Applicants must have completed two years of college (bachelors degree in related field prefered), have the ability and desire to work with elementary school students in small and large group situations, a desire to live in community, a sense of humor, creativity and flexibility.
