The University of Minnesota is recruiting a PhD level, Associate Director for the Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve (CCESR) to contribute to and foster its research, education, and outreach missions and to direct day-to-day Reserve operations. Duties include collaborative or independent research, coordination of research, site management, teaching and development of site facilities. CCESR, which is in the College of Biological Sciences, is a 5500 acre about 40 minutes north of campus. CCESR is internationally renowned ecological research facility that focuses on understanding the fundamental processes that control the functioning of ecosystems and the services that ecosystems provide to society. A team of >70 faculty, post-doctoral scholars, graduate students and undergraduates conduct research at CCESR, which is a long-term ecological research (LTER) site funded by NSF since 1982.
