The Engineer, Water & Energy Services is responsible for the onsite service of a diverse range of water treatment programs provided by Global Water Technology at various client locations. These programs include, but are not limited to, steam boilers, cooling towers, hot and chilled closed loop systems, wastewater treatment, potable water treatment, related filtration and pre-treatment equipment, and chemical feed systems. Summary of Duties:

· Manage water treatment programs at established client sites through regular program audits which include obtaining and testing water samples using field laboratory equipment.

· Resolve program non-conformances by troubleshooting problems and implementing corrective measures which may include equipment repairs or chemical dosage adjustments.

· Generate professionally written technical reports which advise on industry best practices for operating mechanical equipment with a focus on extended equipment life as well as water and energy savings. This often involves identifying, recommending, and implementing program upgrades.

· Conduct customer meetings to communicate program results in a manner that builds rapport and promotes customer care of their mechanical systems.

· Work with a mentor/manager to identify, scope, and sell identified technical solutions within existing or new client base while documenting and following up on the progress with managers and clients.

Qualifications:

· A demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a desire to work in a hands-on environment.

· Previous experience working with customers (in a related or unrelated industry) with a strong focus on providing an exceptional customer experience.

· Previous work experience in the water industry is considered an asset.

Sr. Project Manager, Solar for All

NYSERDA seeks a motivated and experienced individual with excellent writing, analytic, and organizational skills to join our team as a Senior Project Manager. Reporting to the Director of the NY-Sun Initiative, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation of New York State’s $250 million federal Solar for All grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA-SFA). New York intends to use federal EPA -SFA funding to expand existing programs serving disadvantaged communities, and to implement new programs in partnership with other state and local agencies. The Senior Project Manager for Solar for All will lead the integration of EPA-SFA funding into existing programs and processes; oversee sub-grantees, consultants and contractors; and serve as the primary point of contact for the EPA. The Senior Project Manager for Solar for All will collaborate closely with members of NYSERDA’s NY-Sun (distributed solar) and Energy Storage teams, as well as the authority’s legal, evaluation, contracting, and finance staff.

Primary Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the successful implementation of New York State’s EPA Solar for All grant.
Oversee the work of sub-grantees (other New York State and New York City agencies participating in the grant), consultants and contractors including writing statements of work, issuing contracts, budgeting, and invoicing.
Workplan and budget development and oversight, including periodic review and amendment based on program performance.

Manager, Clean Energy

Through a major new grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), EDF has launched a new phase of work in Puerto Rico in which it will team up with community groups in Culebra to provide solar PV and battery storage systems for up to 150 additional low-income homes on the island. EDF will coordinate this project with other clean energy and sustainability initiatives on the island and will support efforts to make Culebra the first solar island in the region. EDF will work with a network of other NGOs, industry groups, consumer advocates, and community leaders to support ongoing and new policy and regulatory initiatives, as budget allows.

Overall Function

EDF seeks a Manager, Clean Energy to develop and implement programmatic activities in Puerto Rico, with an emphasis on implementing the DOE award. This position will create and manage partnerships, conduct analyses, and foster collaboration among NGO’s, agencies, and community partners, and others.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Clean Energy, and in collaboration with other colleagues, this position uses experience and knowledge to manage our community-based solar and storage project in Culebra, to develop a network of other communities interested in similar projects, and to support the new DOE project that aims to install more PV systems in Culebra Island.

Duration: This is a 4-year fixed term position until December 20, 2028 with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and residents of Culebra with the goal of fostering trust, gathering information, developing project ideas, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Manage the Culebra solar energy pilot project by troubleshooting and helping to resolve problems, monitoring performance of installations, collecting data, and communicating results.
Support the development and implementation of a strategy to ensure long-term operation and maintenance services.
Support the implementation and management of a new solar energy project in Culebra by applying project management skills, gathering data, writing reports, among other tasks.

Green Energy Program Manager

The Program Manager will design and lead projects that promote energy efficiency and decarbonization technologies. Current anticipated project needs include development of targeted communication and outreach strategies, and services for customer and building professional engagement on topics ranging from multifamily, building codes and standards, project financing, and contractor training for energy efficiency and building decarbonization. In addition, anticipated projects will benefit from an attention to issues of equity and access, with a focus on diverse communities and interests that are traditionally underserved. Sustainability Program Coordinator

Under the supervision of the Municipal Light Plant (“MLP”) Assistant Director, the Sustainability Program Coordinator develops, implements, and administers the MLP’s sustainability programs designed to encourage its customers to adopt technological, behavioral, and other measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and electrical demand or use. These programs include rebate or incentive programs for beneficial electrification, energy efficiency, and solar energy, which are guided by the principles and goals set forth in the Town of Wellesley’s Climate Action Plan and by the Municipal Light Board and MLP senior management. The Sustainability Program Coordinator coordinates program development and delivery with MLP staff (Customer Service), other Town departments (e.g., Climate Action Office), program vendors, and other stakeholders (citizen, business, and contractor groups) to ensure they are well coordinated and communicated and provide MLP customers a positive experience. The incumbent continually monitors and evaluates the progress, customer uptake, and performance and effectiveness of these programs to estimate the resulting energy savings and greenhouse gas reductions, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure they produce meaningful benefits.

The Sustainability Program Coordinator coordinates and oversees the Town’s Energy Coach program, which is staffed by volunteers who provide guidance and resources to residents and building owners on opportunities to reduce their energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. Senior Associate, Climate & Nature

The Climate & Nature Senior Associate will play a pivotal role in driving J.Crew Group’s commitment to sustainability by supporting projects focused on climate change, biodiversity conservation, regenerative agriculture, packaging, water stewardship, and deforestation. Climate:

Support the development and implementation of J.Crew Group’s Climate strategy:
Collaborate with internal teams to track, monitor, and report on GHG emissions, reduction initiatives, and their impact;

Qualifications:

3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a nature and climate focused role.
Strong understanding of the apparel industry’s environmental impact and supply chain dynamics.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills, footprinting and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
Passion for sustainability and a deep commitment to environmental stewardship.
A strong understanding of environmental issues, sustainability principles, and relevant regulations and standards, including SBTi and the GHG Protocol.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
– Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures related to sustainability conferring with other departments and staff members as necessary. 10%
– Stay apprised of sustainability regulations and opportunities, ensuring UWMC compliance with current legislation specific to sustainability. 10%
– Monitor and track sustainability indicators, such as energy use, natural resource use, etc. Maintain effective systems of communication, information gathering and documentation. 20%
– Create and maintain plans, reports, and other documents related to sustainability projects and monitor their progress. Ensure projects are directed towards meeting stated goals and objectives. Assist in developing financial analyses and budgets for projects and monitoring. 30%
– Work to promote environmental sustainability with staff and vendors. Consult with departments about sustainability opportunities and issues, identifying their requirements and providing appropriate solutions. 20%
– Communicate with a broad range of groups, including senior leaders, boards, professional colleagues, and other public environments, participate in various committees as assigned. 10%

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelors degree in related field
– 2 or more years Sustainability program management experience or equivalent.
– An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
