Sustainability Specialist

The Sustainability Specialist will support initiatives throughout the Saint-Gobain North America (SGNA) in pursuit of the robust sustainability goals. These goals include reduction in operational energy, water, waste, & CO2 emissions, completion of Life Cycle Assessments of its products, Scope 3/Supply Chain emission reduction, as well as creating circularity in its operations and products. This person will work within teams from all parts of the organization to successful accomplish the Life Cycle Assessment goals. This includes:

Researching Product Category Rules (PCRs) and industry standards
Collecting and verifying data for production, product recipes, raw material usage, waste, water, energy, and packaging information at each of the manufacturing facilities in the study.
Allocating resources to the products in the study using PCR framework and other standards
Writing Life Cycle Assessments reports and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) when requested by customers
Reviewing data with stakeholders and assessing hot spot areas of improvement to share with Business level road mapping teams.
Supporting reporting of circularity, recycled content, embodied carbon, and other product sustainability attributes on customer facing websites and tools
Providing backup support for both the LCA Manager for life cycle analysis and Sustainability team on various projects, including Scope 3, circularity, and other efforts as needed.
Assist in the development of product Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to understand and communicate product sustainability attributes.
Participate in business level sustainability and green teams to provide LCA and circularity information for their strategy in pursuit of goals.
Assist Sustainability and LCA Manager with external industry partners, such as relevant industry groups, and LCA program operators like UL to develop analysis frameworks (PCR) for various product categories

Qualifications:

BS Degree in Engineering or Science discipline required; Environmental, Sustainability, or Chemistry focus preferred.
0-2 years’ experience in Sustainability/CSR/ESG program management – CO2, waste, water, energy reduction preferred.
0-2 years’ experience in Life Cycle Assessment methodology preferred.
Familiar with manufacturing environments and common industrial process equipment preferred.
Familiar with safety and safety protocols in industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.

Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure – Program Manager

Guidehouse is seeking a Program Manager to support our Energy Efficiency/Electrification programs (multiple locations available) with experience in the energy industry. This position requires experience with developing and delivering Energy Efficiency (EE), electrification and/or decarbonization solutions as well as team and partner management of various functional groups (internal and external), client, and stakeholders. The Program Manager will support the implementation of energy efficiency rebate programs for our state and local government clients. Destination Management and Sustainability Strategist

As the Destination Management and Sustainability Strategist, you will lead sustainable tourism and destination development initiatives for Visit Durango’s Destination Management division. In this role, you’ll help shape Durango as a vibrant and welcoming destination by advancing high-quality tourism infrastructure, promoting inclusive experiences, and supporting sustainable practices that benefit the environment, community, and local economy. Under the direction of the Director of Resiliency and Sustainability, this position is responsible for advancing NOPEC’s organizational and community-level sustainability initiatives. The Sustainability Coordinator supports the integration of sustainability and resiliency principles across programs, partnerships, and operations to help member communities transition toward a more equitable, low-carbon future.

Sustainability Specialist

The Sustainability Specialist will support KDP’s Water and Nature work with a primary focus on implementation of KDP’s water replenishment projects and research and analysis in support of the water strategy. This person will also support the implementation of our nature strategy and regenerative agriculture investments in the upstream supply chain.

What you will do:
• Support the administration of KDP’s water replenishment projects in high water risk geographies in California, Texas, Florida, Arizona and Mexico, including new project intake and evaluation, contracting, progress monitoring, tracking progress to goal and reporting
• Manage internal and external requests for information and manage requirements from and requests of customers and partners
• Research in support of strategy development for KDP’s Positive Water Impact ambition, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity and nature. This may include peer/customer benchmarking and research on relevant and new/emerging topic areas, e.g. WASH, water quality, impact to biodiversity, etc.
• Support KDP’s active participation in key local and global water-related industry organizations

Resource Conservation Representative

The Resource Conservation Representative (RCR) provides water and energy resource conservation consultation and customer service to residential and commercial customers. The RCR enforces local municipal drought ordinances, manages the resource conservation rebate program, creates educational material for customers, provides public outreach to the community through educational interactive presentations, contests, and social media, and analyzes data and customer usage to identify specific customer issues and create unique solutions/improvements for customers.

The RCR must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills to create and cultivate internal and external working networks to accomplish the mission and goals of the organization. This is a hands-on position which will require a high attention to detail, superior communication skills and the ability to work within a cross functional team of professionals.
