Position Summary

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Energy Sustainability Program Delivery, the Senior Program Manager manages the delivery of homeowner services for the NYSERDA Clean Energy Hub in Brooklyn and the Bronx, and other related energy efficiency programs for the Center.

The Senior Program Manager will work in collaboration with the Deputy Director, Energy Sustainability Program Delivery, colleagues from across Center teams, and with program partner organizations to ensure that the priorities for the Clean Energy Hub are managed and achieved, including program reporting, leading internal and external meetings, troubleshooting programmatic issues, escalating individual applicant challenges, and seeking, designing, and developing program efficiencies.

The Senior Program Manager is a highly organized team manager who excels at managing collaborative initiatives with external partners and will be an integral part of ensuring the Clean Energy Hub meets quarterly targets by delivering high-quality services and outcomes to New Yorkers. The Senior Program Manager will represent the Center in internal and external meetings and at events as needed.

This is a full-time, exempt position. This is a hybrid role intended for candidates within commuting distance from our office.

Skills & Qualifications

This Senior Solar Analyst/Solar Analyst position supports the Solar 4 All® (S4A) program Operations team. This position is responsible for conducting effective ongoing operations for 158 MW-dc of utility-owned solar projects. Responsible for ensuring critical S4A tasks are completed and in compliance of New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) order. Responsibilities include: conducting PJM energy sales, Solar Renewable Energy Credit (SREC) management, auctions, and transfers, capacity bidding, insurance management for solar plants, management of rent payments, repowering existing solar and energy storage facilities, oversight of solar and energy storage operations utilizing existing monitoring platforms, and completion of several key FERC, NJBPU and NJ Clean Energy Program reporting requirements. Must be able to work independently and creatively on special projects. Coordinate and communicate with PJM, New Jersey Clean Energy Program, BPU, S4A lease counterparties, and other stakeholders. Develop and implement program procedures/processes, train team associates and contractor support personnel, work with other PSE&G departments, and provide recommendations to senior management regarding Solar 4 All portfolio as needed. Sustainability Specialist

The Sustainability Specialist will support KDP’s Water and Nature work with a primary focus on implementation of KDP’s water replenishment projects and research and analysis in support of the water strategy. This person will also support the implementation of our nature strategy and regenerative agriculture investments in the upstream supply chain.

What you will do:
• Support the administration of KDP’s water replenishment projects in high water risk geographies in California, Texas, Florida, Arizona and Mexico, including new project intake and evaluation, contracting, progress monitoring, tracking progress to goal and reporting
• Manage internal and external requests for information and manage requirements from and requests of customers and partners
• Research in support of strategy development for KDP’s Positive Water Impact ambition, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity and nature. This may include peer/customer benchmarking and research on relevant and new/emerging topic areas, e.g. WASH, water quality, impact to biodiversity, etc.
• Support KDP’s active participation in key local and global water-related industry organizations
• Track and document water impact initiatives and metrics across the business to support regulatory and voluntary disclosures, impact reporting and our learning agenda
• Manage the contracting, progress reporting and progress to goal rollup for KDP’s regenerative agriculture investments in the apple and corn supply chains, as well as supporting key partner relationships

What you must have:

• BS/BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Environmental Science or related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing projects that cut across an organization and involve multiple functions and stakeholders
• Experience in the development of successful water and/or nature work, e.g. regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, water quantity/quality issues. Experience in row crop or specialty crop supply chains is preferred
• Experience in impact assessment, Measurement/Reporting/Verification is ideal with a preference for experience with grant writing/evaluation
• Ability to analyze and organize data in order to identify trends and key insights, usually utilizing Excel
• Expertise in common knowledge-worker tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of experience in related roles such as EV charging, mobility platforms, sustainability, energy, or technology-enabled services
Significant experience in the EV ecosystem, ideally with direct exposure to EV charging products, services, or platforms, including customer-facing applications and back-end software systems
Demonstrated entrepreneurial experience building or scaling new products or businesses from 0→1 through product–market fit and growth
Deep understanding of EV customer experiences and pain points, and familiarity with the platforms and tools that support them
Strong financial acumen, including comfort with P&L, unit economics, and investment/return tradeoffs
Multi-year experience managing or owning commercial outcomes in a charging, mobility, or analogous business (e.g., pricing structures, service requirements, commercial performance)

Resource Conservation Representative

The Resource Conservation Representative (RCR) provides water and energy resource conservation consultation and customer service to residential and commercial customers. The RCR enforces local municipal drought ordinances, manages the resource conservation rebate program, creates educational material for customers, provides public outreach to the community through educational interactive presentations, contests, and social media, and analyzes data and customer usage to identify specific customer issues and create unique solutions/improvements for customers.

The RCR must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills to create and cultivate internal and external working networks to accomplish the mission and goals of the organization. This is a hands-on position which will require a high attention to detail, superior communication skills and the ability to work within a cross functional team of professionals. Director of Sustainability

Montana State University (MSU) seeks a visionary leader to serve as the Director of the Office of Sustainability. The director will guide the campus in a way where sustainability is not only discovered and practiced but taught and lived. About the Position

Working under the supervision of the Eco-Innovation Director, the Green Infrastructure Specialist will support CSNDC’s efforts to deliver robust training that prepares participants to obtain the nationally recognized National Green Infrastructure Certification Program (NGICP) certification. This certification program provides the base-level skill set needed for entry-level workers to properly construct, inspect and maintain Green Infrastructure and become competitive in the emerging Green Infrastructure workforce. The Green Infrastructure Program Specialist will coordinate the day-to-day roll-out of the training program, including delivering the training, in accordance with NGICP standards. The Green Infrastructure Program Specialist will work closely with the City of Boston’s Climate Job Alliance team to implement the training. This salaried position is currently operating on a 37.5 hr./week hybrid remote/in-office schedule and will require some weekend and evening work hours.

David Blittersdorf Professor of Sustainability Science and Policy

The Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources (RSENR) at the University of Vermont (UVM) invites applicants for a full-time, 9-month, Endowed Associate or Full Professorship. We seek a candidate who works at the interface of science, policy, and renewable energy systems and who has expertise and experience working with broadly interdisciplinary teams. Although the professorship is in RSENR, we anticipate close ties with UVM’s College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (CEMS) and the possibility of a secondary appointment there.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will contribute to research, service, and teaching and have a record of scholarship that engages with both academic and non-academic partners. They will have a demonstrated capacity to participate in energy and climate-change policy discussions, ideally at multiple scales (e.g., state, national, international), using both qualitative and quantitative data. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a high-impact research program with a strong international reputation. They will build relationships between UVM and the broader U.S. and global energy communities, leading to impactful research communicated broadly, in peer-reviewed scholarly outlets and elsewhere. Service expectations include contributing to school and university committees, and the energy systems profession at large. The successful candidate will teach courses relevant to their expertise (including required core courses) in RSENR’s undergraduate and graduate curriculum, and mentor and guide students in projects, internships, and independent studies. They will be expected to mentor and supervise graduate students and serve on thesis/dissertation committees.

Qualifications: The position requires evidence of research, experience, and impact in the field of renewable energy, sustainable energy systems, and thus climate change mitigation – with flexibility as to the relative roles of research, experience, and impact. Applicants should have a doctoral degree and the ability to develop a successful research program. The candidate will need to qualify for tenure upon hire.

Water Conservation Specialist

The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Water Conservation Specialist.

Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. Energy Manager

Purpose of Classification:

The purpose of this classification is lead countywide energy and sustainability initiatives by developing and implementing efficiency programs, overseeing compliance and performance data, and guiding energy-related capital planning to reduce costs and advance the county’s climate and resiliency goals.

Essential Functions:

The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Leads and guides the county’s energy strategic planning goals; develops and oversees countywide energy management strategies and policies; identifies opportunities for energy conservation, renewable energy adoption, and operational cost reduction; and leads development of the County Energy Resiliency Strategic Plan, including EV charging infrastructure, solar, battery storage, and related solutions.

Implements energy program implementation; manages or participates in cross-departmental green teams to identify and implement energy-saving initiatives; implements strategic plans and policies; develops budgets, approves expenditures, negotiates contracts, and oversees vendor performance; manages energy audits of county facilities, infrastructure, and utility systems; coordinates retrofits, upgrades, and efficiency projects across county-owned or managed properties; and oversees planning and execution of renewable energy projects including solar installations, EV infrastructure, and green building initiatives.

Provides program monitoring and reporting; tracks energy usage, costs, and savings using energy management software; prepares regular reports for county leadership on progress toward sustainability goals; ensures compliance with local, state, and federal energy regulations; and tracks and updates the county’s greenhouse gas inventory and benchmarking reports.

Engages with stakeholders; collaborates with County departments, schools, utilities, nonprofits, and community partners to promote energy awareness; builds and maintains external partnerships with organizations supporting energy efficiency and sustainability; provides training and guidance to staff on energy-efficient practices; and represents the county in regional and national sustainability forums.

Prepares funding strategies; identifies, pursues, and manages grants and incentive programs supporting energy efficiency, resilience, and renewable energy projects; prepares proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation for federal, state, and utility-based funding opportunities; and coordinates reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements for grant-funded projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Management or related field (Master’s degree preferred); five years of experience in energy management, facilities management, or sustainability programs; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this classification.

Specific License or Certification Required: CEM (Certified Energy Manager), LEED Accreditation, or equivalent preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
