What you’ll do:

Participate in the development and manage the day-to-day aspects of the NAVEX’s ESG initiatives, including data collection, analysis and reporting to support the company’s GHG reduction targets

Sustainability and Green Building Specialist

PAE is an engineering and design firm that turns complex challenges into reality. By leveraging the latest technologies, we solve problems in unique ways, and our designs enable buildings and communities to be more resilient and efficient.

The Sustainability and Green Building Specialist role supports PAE’s Regenerative Design Group in advancing sustainable building design. The position involves consulting on strategies related to daylighting, energy, water, materials, and occupant health, as well as administering green building certifications such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel, and the Living Building Challenge. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and communication skills, familiarity with the architectural design process, and the ability to collaborate with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

What You’ll Do

Work with engineering and architectural teams to identify sustainability goals, compile design options to meet those goals, test their effectiveness, and make clear recommendations as part of an integrated design process.
Conduct façade optimization studies including daylighting, shading effectiveness, glare, peak solar load, and natural ventilation effectiveness.
Conduct Life-Cycle Assessment studies (LCA) and advise on methods to reduce embodied carbon.
Conduct studies on other topics related to sustainable design, such as water conservation studies, reviews of sustainable materials, and energy studies
Author project deliverables such as reports, memos, and presentations
Collaborate internally with PAE’s MEP design teams and other members of the Regenerative Design team.
Lead and manage the design and documentation process for green building rating systems including LEED, WELL, Fitwel, and ILFI’s suite of rating systems. This will include:
Serving as the primary liaison with project teams, clients, consultants, and certifying bodies related to green building rating systems
Reviewing and tracking project performance against rating system requirements
Developing and managing certification documentation, including narratives, calculators, and supporting documents;
Staying up to date with changes and updates to rating systems and share knowledge across teams
Supporting internal education and training efforts on sustainability certifications

Director of Operations and Sustainability

Summary

This is a senior leadership role that directs the organization’s operations, grounds, and facilities, including, leading of management team to ensure all parks and facilities are consistently safe and clean. Provides leadership and oversight to operations staff to ensure a positive experience, with a focus on conservation, sustainability, and safety.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for general supervision, coordination and implementation of regular maintenance, repairs, and miscellaneous care of assigned park locations, buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe park operations in accordance with established organizational standards.
Allocates materials, labor, and equipment resources according to organizational priorities and budget to provide the most efficient use of people and equipment.
Responsible for leading organizational sustainability initiatives, including developing and managing the Sustainability Taskforce and deliverables.
Responsible for the creation and implementation of MetroParks’ facility and maintenance plans and standards, which includes the documentation of standards, accurate and up-to-date inventory of all facilities and amenities, and the creation and management of the repair and replacement plan.
Leads MetroParks’ fleet management program, including an accurate inventory of all fleet assets, creation and management of the rotation and replacement plan, coordination of all fleet purchasing, and ensuring all fleet assets are properly tagged and insured.
Leads MetroParks’ safety program, including the creation and coordination of organizational safety and equipment training, regular attendance at BWC safety council meetings, and PPE and risk evaluation.
Maintain operational efficiencies and consistent SOPs across all locations.
Provides oversight and implementation of MetroParks’ Legacy Program, including external communication, coordination, and installation of memorial benches and trees.
Manages or delegates management of contracted operational services and usage agreements.

Required Education and Experience:

A minimum of four (4) year degree from an accredited college or technical school in Natural Resources, Wildlife Management, Horticulture, Conservation, or a related field.
A minimum of seven (7) years maintenance and/or stewardship experience with a park, natural resource or conservation agency or closely related employer.
A minimum of five (5) years in a managerial role.
Experience in and working knowledge of common practices of general park maintenance, minor building and equipment repair, grounds keeping, landscaping, conservation land management and stewardship activities and equipment.
Ability to efficiently operate and teach others to safely and properly operate various types of grounds maintenance and/or construction equipment.

Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or similar non-proprietary software. Basic computer and software competency, which includes use of email, spreadsheets, and word processing is required.

A valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record allowing insurability by the park district’s current vehicle insurance carrier under existing coverage provisions. Candidates for employment may not have more than 4 total points (or equivalent penalty) issued by a recognized licensing authority for driving-related violations on their driving record at the time of employment.

Possession of a valid Ohio Department of Agriculture Public Operator License as a Certified Pesticide Applicator allowing utilization of restricted-use pesticides/herbicides for ornamental plant and shade tree pest control and/or turf pest control required at the time of employment, or before completion of the initial probationary period and thereafter is required.

Energy Services Manager

The City of St. Cloud is seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to fill the role of Energy Services Manager. The Energy Services Manager provides leadership and direction for the City’s energy and sustainability initiatives. This position oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs that reduce operating costs, improve energy efficiency, enhance resiliency, and expand renewable energy use across City operations. The Manager is responsible for supervising energy & sustainability staff, managing energy-related contracts and budgets, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role involves developing strategic partnerships, identifying funding opportunities and advising leadership on policies and projects that advance long-term energy and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in energy management, environmental science, engineering, public administration, sustainability, or a related field, and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in energy management, sustainability, or utilities; including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or project management role. Or, Post-secondary degree in energy management, environmental science, engineering, public administration, sustainability, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in energy management, sustainability, or utilities; including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or project management role; and a valid Class D driver’s license. License must be unrestricted except for corrective lenses.

The salary range is $97,941 – $131,672.

Zero Waste Coordinator

The City of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Zero Waste Coordinator for the Sustainability and Resilience Department. Under the direction of the Director of Sustainability Projects and as part of the interdisciplinary team, the position will play active role in implementation of the City’s first Zero Waste Master Plan and will be guided by the Green Worcester Sustainability and Resilience Strategic Plan (GWP). The Zero Waste Coordinator plays an integral part in the City’s commitment to a more sustainable future through programs and projects focused on promoting waste reduction citywide. This position will work closely with the Department of Public Works, Worcester Public Schools, and other departments. This is an on-site position.

Sustainability Specialist

The Sustainability Specialist will support initiatives throughout the Saint-Gobain North America (SGNA) in pursuit of the robust sustainability goals. These goals include reduction in operational energy, water, waste, & CO2 emissions, completion of Life Cycle Assessments of its products, Scope 3/Supply Chain emission reduction, as well as creating circularity in its operations and products. This person will work within teams from all parts of the organization to successful accomplish the Life Cycle Assessment goals. This includes:

Researching Product Category Rules (PCRs) and industry standards
Collecting and verifying data for production, product recipes, raw material usage, waste, water, energy, and packaging information at each of the manufacturing facilities in the study.
Allocating resources to the products in the study using PCR framework and other standards
Writing Life Cycle Assessments reports and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) when requested by customers
Reviewing data with stakeholders and assessing hot spot areas of improvement to share with Business level road mapping teams.
Supporting reporting of circularity, recycled content, embodied carbon, and other product sustainability attributes on customer facing websites and tools
Providing backup support for both the LCA Manager for life cycle analysis and Sustainability team on various projects, including Scope 3, circularity, and other efforts as needed.
Assist in the development of product Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to understand and communicate product sustainability attributes.
Participate in business level sustainability and green teams to provide LCA and circularity information for their strategy in pursuit of goals.
Assist Sustainability and LCA Manager with external industry partners, such as relevant industry groups, and LCA program operators like UL to develop analysis frameworks (PCR) for various product categories

Qualifications:

Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure – Program Manager

Guidehouse is seeking a Program Manager to support our Energy Efficiency/Electrification programs (multiple locations available) with experience in the energy industry. This position requires experience with developing and delivering Energy Efficiency (EE), electrification and/or decarbonization solutions as well as team and partner management of various functional groups (internal and external), client, and stakeholders. Destination Management and Sustainability Strategist

As the Destination Management and Sustainability Strategist, you will lead sustainable tourism and destination development initiatives for Visit Durango’s Destination Management division. In this role, you’ll help shape Durango as a vibrant and welcoming destination by advancing high-quality tourism infrastructure, promoting inclusive experiences, and supporting sustainable practices that benefit the environment, community, and local economy. You will also collaborate with the City of Durango Sustainability Department on tourism-focused sustainability projects.

What You’ll Do in This Role:

Develop and lead sustainable tourism programs that protect the environment, support local communities, and promote inclusive travel.
Guide long-term planning and strategy for tourism growth, aligning projects with social, economic, and environmental priorities.

Under the direction of the Director of Resiliency and Sustainability, this position is responsible for advancing NOPEC’s organizational and community-level sustainability initiatives. The Sustainability Coordinator supports the integration of sustainability and resiliency principles across programs, partnerships, and operations to help member communities transition toward a more equitable, low-carbon future.
The position supports NOPEC’s Net-Zero 2050 Pathway Plan, community technical assistance programs, and peer-learning initiatives while providing strong coordination, research, and administrative support.

Illustrative duties may include, but are not restricted to, one or more of the following:

Support sustainability, energy, and resiliency programs and initiatives.
Provide scheduling, meeting coordination, track follow-ups, event support, and documentation.
