EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, business administration, public administration or related field is required. Eight years of experience in project management, commercial energy efficiency design, facilities management, and/or sustainability practices required. Lead/supervisory experience required. Excellent time management and organizational skills are required. Knowledge of building science, building systems, and green building technologies preferred. Must possess excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plans and oversees the Authority’s sustainability initiative programs from design conception through implementation. Ensures the Authority’s Sustainability Program enhances business performance and aligns with corporate vision, mission, and priorities to drive change.

2. Provides exceptional customer experience through the delivery of energy efficiency and sustainable programs. Proposes and implements strategies to address various environmental concerns including energy use, conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, building, facility design, and general education on sustainability resilience programs.

3. Assesses and analyzes internal policies and procedures to identify areas to which improvements can be made in accordance with MARTA’s commitment to sustainability. Supports the sustainability committee task force that assists in knowledge sharing and coordination of various initiatives, projects, and programs led by various departments.

4. Proposes and implements strategies to address various environmental concerns including energy use, conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, building, and facility design, and general education on sustainability.

5. Serves as a liaison between MARTA and other organizations including APTA (American Public Transportation Association), Clean Cities Georgia, Southface Energy Institute, and other organizations with a mission that aligns with MARTA’s commitment to sustainability and resilience.

6. Prepares and presents, proposals and recommendations to executives, board of directors, and other key stakeholders.

7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Sustainability Analyst

The Sustainability Analyst is a key member of the Sustainability team and will support a wide range of data gathering, analysis, disclosure preparation and support for all aspects of Qcells’ sustainability and corporate governance programs. Passionate and create problem solvers are encouraged! They will design and lead projects and initiatives to support Qcells’ progressive sustainability goals. The position will collaborate across the full range of Qcells’ R&D, manufacturing, and sales & marketing teams to create robust and efficient processes for sustainability reporting, and design initiatives to drive continual improvements in sustainability performance. This role will identify, collect, manage, and effectively communicate a wide range of ESG metrics and projects.
Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate the development and implementation of cross-functional programs and initiatives within each manufacturing facility as well as company-wide to reduce environmental footprint, including GHG emissions, energy use, and waste.
Put processes, systems, and workflows in place to support/improve data integrity and accurate reporting of carbon footprint and other environmental KPIs for each site and entirety of organization.
Build on the internal database of sustainability knowledge; track and monitor industry trends to identify best practices for continuous improvement.
Manage and track all sustainability KPIs for the company across all North American facilities and the overall business; provide regular updates on performance to management.
Support the company’s ESG initiatives and disclosures including working with a cross-functional team to collect, organize and analyze data for the annual sustainability reports, SASB, GRI, CDP, TCFD and overall emissions tracking to show progress against the companies SBTi goals.
Monitor and track progress against ESG goals and metrics
Partner with external organizations to improve access to third party data and tools to establish more precise benchmarks and reporting abilities for the company as well as for the industry at large.
Partner with Director of Sustainability to refine and champion the vision for Qcells’ sustainability platform.
Collaborate with the manufacturing operations teams and other internal functions to develop a coordinated sustainability roadmap to deliver the Company’s commitments.
Actively engage in external organizations including NGOs and trade groups to bring state-of-the-art sustainability best practices in-house.

Required Qualifications

Experience with ESG/sustainability reporting and disclosure, including knowledge of current tools and trends; ESG raters and rating agencies; and requirements of SASB, TCFD and other reporting frameworks and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Program Coordinator, Sustainability

Purpose:
This is a 40 hours per week, full time position that is eligible for benefits. The Program Coordinator will assist the Program Manager on sustainability work across the system in a collaborative way, reporting up to the Senior Director, Center for Sustainability. This diverse role will be essential in compiling the data related to impact metrics from various sustainability initiatives. The program coordinator will support the organization in deploying environmentally friendly practices, and development and implementation of goals and strategies that align with the Center for Sustainability. The program coordinator will design the tools that will reflect the measurable outcomes of sustainability initiatives i.e. charts, graphs, reports, etc. The reporting will be trackable, in an efficient, logical manner that will be used for short- and long-term planning. The program coordinator will act in accordance with policies and procedures and exemplifies the mission, vision, and values of UPMC.

Building Decarbonization Program Manager

About the Position

Under the general direction of the Director of Climate Programs, this position develops, plans, coordinates, implements and administers the City’s building decarbonization programs and initiatives to reduce community-wide greenhouse gas emissions. The Building Decarbonization Program Manager will develop and implement new energy efficiency and building decarbonization policies and programs; develop and provide community outreach and engagement to help Olympia residents and businesses implement energy efficiency and decarbonization measures; and apply an equity lens to improve program outcomes for frontline community members.

Zero Waste Captain

The Bank of NH Pavilion is seeking several Zero Waste Captains to help us take our sustainability programs to the next level. This role is the backbone and driving force behind Live Nation’s resource recovery and circularity program and is responsible for ensuring maximum landfill diversion during event waste sorting, educating both fans and staff, and supporting your Sustainability Coordinator’s efforts contributing to the venue sustainability culture. This position will partner with the Venue Sustainability Coordinator and be part of the venue operations team. This is a seasonal, part-time position for show days. Hours per week will vary depending on show schedule and business needs at the time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Participate in Zero Waste Captain on-boarding training

· Assist in the mid- and post-show waste sorting process of all recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials

· Relay boots on the ground observations to guide areas of improvement and overall program development

· Contribute ideas to improve material circularity based on most commonly seen items in the waste stream

· Assist the Sustainability Coordinator with educational support to all crew members and fans

Energy Project Manager

Conservation Voters of South Carolina is the political voice of South Carolina’s environmental community. CVSC is a bipartisan, non-profit organization that, along with its sister organization, the CVSC PAC, passes laws that protect our environment, elects pro-conservation candidates, and holds elected officials accountable. The CVSC Education Fund also works to educate and engage South Carolinians “to protect the South Carolina we love.” We effectively fight for our air, land, and water through bipartisan and pragmatic political action.

Scope of Position: CVSC seeks a highly motivated person with experience in energy policy, advocacy, and communications for a project management position focused on clean energy advocacy campaigns. This position will design and lead advocacy campaigns for clean and equitable energy policy at the state and federal levels, helping transition South Carolina to 100% clean energy. The right candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and oral communications skills, a working knowledge of energy policy, a commitment to building meaningful partnerships to advance project goals, demonstrated experience initiating projects and advancing them successfully, and a strong belief in and passion for the mission of CVSC. The position reports to the Director of Energy Policy, coordinating with the entire CVSC team as well as conservation and clean energy allies.

Location: The position must be based in South Carolina (non-negotiable) but may be performed remotely from within the state. CVSC has a physical office in Columbia and a co-work space in Charleston. Occasional day and overnight travel will be required.

Specific Responsibilities:

Designs and implements strategic multi-pronged campaign plans aimed at an ambitious and equitable transition to clean energy in SC.
Builds and maintains a diverse set of positive working relationships, collaborating and coordinating with policy experts, partner organizations, lobbyists, consultants, community leaders, businesses, and grassroots organizers on electric utility resource planning, regulation, legislation related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy poverty, and other policies.
Develops and manages communications for energy campaigns, including messaging, media, and digital communications (emails, social media, website updates, ads); provides quotes, pitches stories, and builds relationships with the press.
Serves as a policy resource at CVSC for energy topics, providing campaign updates, message guidance, talking points, factsheets, policy insights and briefings, and other necessary campaign materials to CVSC staff, partners, and advocates.
Develops and organizes educational, engagement, and advocacy events related to clean energy.
Represent CVSC in written and oral communications as well as in briefings with lawmakers and presentations with the public. May serve as a registered lobbyist for CVSC in order to provide clear and consistent information to elected leaders.

Required Qualifications

Cadmus has a rich history of providing energy, sustainability and resilience technical assistance to communities that enables them to improve the environment and increase the well-being of their residents. Serving as touchstone with client, ensuring team is operating well and necessary technical resources are employed, while simultaneous making sure corporate objectives are in the forefront – resulting in strong project evaluations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., environmental and/or climate sciences, energy, sustainability, urban and environmental planning, public policy) and 15+ years of related work experience or a Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience – with at least 10 years of contract management experience.
PMP certification.
Experience in managing large federal contracts greater than $20M.
Experience in project operations, including development and implementation of project budgets, revenue projections, and related financial documents; administration of subcontractors and independent consultants; preparation of key project deliverables, including leading quality control assurance; and review of client invoices and other required financial reports.
Demonstrated technical knowledge in a relevant area, such as transportation, energy efficiency, clean energy, urban planning, or climate change adaptation and resiliency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
