Sr. Sustainability Engineer

The Sr. Sustainability Engineer will monitor and optimize refinery energy and water performance of the plant, through the investigation of above standard use, driving of technical improvement and optimization across the short, medium, and long term. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Sustainability Engineer is accountable for the refinery energy and water consumption results by identifying needs, opportunities and manage medium sized projects and to work as part of a larger project team.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and implement plant energy and water improvements via Continuous Improvement or Capital investments.
Develop new energy and water conservation projects to keep ASR-Group on pace to meet our 2030 sustainability goals.
To own and drive the sustainability roadmap in collaboration with Sustainability Director.
Develop systems to monitor plant performance and write/update process narratives for control systems improving sustainability.
Provide regular reports to the business by tracking initiatives: own/assist monthly energy/sustainability meetings
Develop and use energy and water signatures and help to identify gaps if required.
Provide training in sustainability related matters or as consequence of projects and significant changes.
Incorporate and respect all policies on Safety, Hygiene, Environment and Quality when driving sustainability activities or projects and ensure technical focus is consistent for legislative and regulatory compliance.

Program Associate/Sr. Program Associate

The Southeastern Wind Coalition (SEWC) is a non-profit coalition working with industry, academia, partner NGOs, government, and utilities to advance the land-based and offshore wind industry in the Southeastern U.S. We take a business-minded and economically focused approach to building the case for wind energy, including the wind supply chain. SEWC regularly convenes stakeholders across our 11-state footprint and leads or participates in strategically important initiatives and discussions to bring wind to the region. We are passionate about growing the wind industry in the Southeast.

The Program Associate/Sr. Program Associate will be an integral part of advancing SEWC’s program and policy priorities. This includes leading various outreach and education efforts, establishing relationships with stakeholders, supporting member communications, and all other aspects of the business. This position has a focus on MS and AR, but also tracks GA, KY, and TN. You will be a key staff member in a small, energetic, and mission-driven organization with an entrepreneurial culture. POSITION DETAILS

Overview

Supports environmental stewardship to position IU Health as a leader in environmental sustainability with the goal of upholding national environmental standards and best practices. Supports the development, implementation, promotion, and monitoring of environmental strategies and goals across IU Health. Coordinates the organization in deploying environmental sustainability actions that lead to the reduction of ecological damage and promote long-term sustainability. Manages a complex portfolio of projects for the Sustainability office. Develops project plans based on system sustainability strategy that result in optimized performance, cost savings, efficiency, and overall return on investments. This is a hybrid role with three days onsite.

Director of Facilities Operations Sustainability

The Director of Facilities Operations Sustainability provides leadership for sustainability programs and initiatives within the Facilities Services department as well as the campus community. The position also serves as the Manager of the Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling (OWRR) and provides leadership and management of waste diversion and zero waste strategies to the unit and campus community as a whole. The Director strives to place the University as a leader in sustainability, waste diversion, and solid waste programs and strategies through innovation and collaboration. This position develops and manages multiple programs simultaneously, including comprehensive environmental programs, sustainable building operations, ecologically sound maintenance practices, efficient transportation, waste reduction, recycling, compost, reuse, green chemical usage, and outreach. Energy Manager, Facilities Management

The Energy Manager is the university’s lead expert on energy efficiency, sustainability, and utility management. This role provides strategic leadership in planning, implementing, and managing energy programs to reduce consumption, lower costs, and support long-term carbon reduction and sustainability goals. Reporting to the Interim Executive Director, the Energy Manager works collaboratively with Facilities Management staff, academic and research units, and campus stakeholders to deliver energy efficiency projects and operational improvements.

The position oversees utility management, building system optimization, and multi-year energy master planning, including the integration of renewable energy, electrification, and advanced technologies. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise in HVAC, lighting, and building automation systems, coupled with financial acumen in budgeting, rate analysis, lifecycle costing, and ROI evaluation. The Energy Manager also plays a key role in engaging faculty, staff, and students to promote energy awareness, support research, and embed sustainability into campus culture.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
