What you’ll do

Work with the Sr. Program Manager-Sustainable Procurement execute program components to reach reduction goals
Engage with internal business leaders and stakeholders to develop project plans and solicit appropriate resources to execute key initiatives.
Partner with strategic sourcing category leaders and suppliers to deploy sustainable sourcing practices to identify more sustainable options and track improvements.
Identify and manage supplier sustainability projects to drive carbon reductions in Kohler’s supply chain.
Maintain and improve carbon tracking process for procurement events to monitor reductions.
Ensure carbon measurement and reduction tracking is aligned with standard practices such as the GHG protocol.
Identify, deploy, and manage technology and external supplier partnerships needed for the success of sustainable procurement programs.
Work with Sr. Program Manager-Sustainable Procurement and Sustainable Living team to respond to stakeholder and customer inquiries, certification/compliance tracking, supplier surveys, audits, and supplier development planning.
Maintain and improve the addition of sustainability expectations to Kohler’s sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance evaluation processes.
Support Sr. Program Manager-Sustainable Procurement with compliance requests that overlap with sustainable procurement.
Maintain, monitor, measure, and report on reduction progress to stakeholders both internally and externally.
Create communications both internally and externally to facilitate a community of best practice sharing and improvement.
Stay up to date on changes to sustainability regulations and best practices.

Skills/Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, sustainable business, engineering, environmental science, or similar program.

Experience: At least 2+ years of previous experience in procurement or sustainability related role (will consider co-op or internship experience)

Job Summary

The Director of Sustainability Americas has the overall responsibility to serve as a trusted partner to Americas for the purpose of improving the business’s performance in key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) areas. The role reports to America’s Sr. Vice President of HSSE with a dotted line to SATS’ Chief Sustainability Officer. The Director of Sustainability Americas, ideally based in Dallas, TX will be required to collaborate and engage frequently with various stakeholders ranging from business units, cross-functional departments, including corporate teams at the Singapore headquarters, to external service providers for the analysis, planning, tracking, and reporting of ESG initiatives and their outcomes. The Director of Sustainability Americas acts as the secretary of the ESG Council for the Americas, which is chaired by a Sustainability Champion from the business.
Compensation

This is a full-time, exempt, remote eligible position.

The expected base salary range for this role is $113,000 to $140,000 USD.

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Responsibilities

Maintain the Americas’ ESG Scorecard at least quarterly to drive the discussions and ESG action plans at the Management team level and in preparation for Group Management Board and Board meetings.
Prepare monthly reporting of sustainability KPIs for Americas to WFS Americas Management and SATS Group management.
Act as a focal point and work with finance, procurement, HSSE, HC, and other functions to collect, verify, report, and analyze Americas’ ESG data on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Monitor, analyze, and report on carbon intensity and net decarbonization progress for the Americas, including scope 1, 2, and 3, low-emission vehicle adoption rate, and renewable energy usage for all WFS operations in the Americas (USA, Canada, and Brazil).
Provide perspective on and content for the assigned region for annual Sustainability Reports.
Advise America’s business units on key gaps and opportunities for improving ESG performance, including not only environmental impact, such as greenhouse gas emissions, but also social and governance impact, such as diversity & inclusion, supply chain due diligence, etc.
Support America’s business units with the prioritization of these gaps and opportunities based on impact and feasibility, including business case development considering P&L impact and other financial and operational implications.
Support Sales & Operations teams in complying with sustainability-related requirements in the RFP/RFQ processes with customers and in applying for Government grants.
Support legal & compliance teams to monitor ESG-related regulations applicable to the USA, Canada, and Brazil.
Act as champion and advocate for sustainability within Americas, e.g., taking part in employee engagement programs, speaking on internal or external panels, being a trainer, etc.
Take the lead and/or provide support on any ad-hoc assignments and projects related to sustainability, e.g., participation in internal and external audits, due diligence exercises for M&A, support for other regions, etc.

Minimum Requirements

Undergraduate degree or equivalent in relevant area such as Environmental Studies, Business, Accounting, Engineering, etc.; certification in Sustainability/ESG a plus.
At least 10 years of experience in project management, corporate transformation, change management, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years in an ESG-related role.

Energy Efficiency Outreach Engineer

We are hiring an Outreach Engineer II who is responsible for the coordination of utility-offered industrial energy efficiency programs and resources for Southern California. The Outreach Engineer acts as the main point of contact and connects with the California industrial network to proactively build and maintain relationships that lead to natural gas and electric efficiency project opportunities. Sustainability Engineer

The Strategic Programs and Partnerships (SP2) ​Sustainability Engineer at General Motors is responsible for managing third-party contracts that support the Resource Management (RM) and Chemical Management (CM) programs at select sites. This role is crucial in championing waste compliance and executing GM’s Zero Waste goals. This role will act as the SP2 team battery management Subject Matter Expert (SME)

The role works cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of associates, leadership, and external partners to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results. This role also works closely with members of the Procurement, Store Maintenance, and other Property Development teams to continually enhance and improve business processes.

Manage, complete, and track all utility-related transfers for move in and move out of tenants in Company-owned plazas and new stores and properties.

Energy & Sustainability Project Manager

The Energy & Sustainability Project Manager, Engineering & Utilities Office – Georgetown University is primarily responsible for managing projects related to the University’s energy infrastructure and facility sustainability goals. Projects and programs shall be managed from the study/concept stage through closeout and turnover to operations and maintenance (O&M) personnel. Scopes of work may range from utility infrastructure renewal to the implementation of processes surrounding water usage reduction and fleet electrification. The person shall provide direction and coordination of project teams composed of non-facilities stakeholders, Georgetown Energy Partners, consultants, contractors, Georgetown O&M personnel, Capital Projects team members, and others. The person will obtain and assist in the solicitation of project approvals from internal University entities, appropriate government agencies, and community interest groups. The person will help track project budgets, schedules, interactions with concurrent projects, quality and code standards, and where applicable – sustainability and Building Energy Performance Standards (BEPS) targets. The person shall coordinate the completion of study and design reviews supporting projects across campus. The person will conduct or solicit inspections of assigned projects to evaluate program/project performance and confirm the satisfactory progression of work. The person may perform special project activities requiring the application of technical expertise to develop solutions to challenging problems, as assigned. Additional Duties include but are not limited to:

Develop proposals for repair and restoration of energy and sustainable building systems.

Track and execute repairs for energy and sustainability building systems.

Manage assigned energy projects (ECM, lifecycle, expansion) in order to meet regulatory requirements.

Support project close out to ensure long term operational success of energy saving projects.

Develop processes to standardize project management expectations and outcomes.

Work Interactions

This position reports directly to the Associate Director, Energy and Sustainability Programs. Provides project management support under general direction, manages multiple projects concurrently with budget values of $5K to $30M per project, and concurrently manages oversight of Georgetown Energy Partnership-led studies and designs, problem-solving analyses, and reports. Responsible for reviewing and coordinating stakeholder reviews of all relevant designs and studies for adequacy of all aspects of complete design; code compliance, GU standards, and regulatory requirements, where applicable. The position will work with Georgetown Energy Partners to manage project teams and coordinate with internal University stakeholders. The position must hold contractors and consultants accountable for the completion and performance of work as stipulated by the contracted scope of work and schedule.

The NYPL Energy Team is committed to implementing energy management best practices across the NYPL’s portfolio of buildings to help the City meet its ambitious emissions reductions and energy goals. NYPL is working to reduce building emissions by 49% by 2025 and 86% by 2030 (compared to 2005 levels), culminating in full decarbonization by 2050. The Energy Team works to track overall energy usage and identify energy-saving opportunities in buildings, implement energy-efficient operations and maintenance (O&M) practices, and oversee the delivery of energy efficiency retrofit projects.

The Energy Project Manager will sit within the Department of Facilities Management which is responsible for keeping all NYPL locations safe, clean, comfortable and welcoming for our patrons and staff. Working closely with the agency energy team, and in close partnership with the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) Division of Energy Management (DEM), the Energy Project Manager will primarily be charged with developing and managing the implementation of energy efficiency and/or clean energy projects in City-owned buildings.

Registered Architect with a current license, preferred.
Project experience with sport stadiums, arenas, convention centers, hospitality, and aviation a strong plus.
Strong project management mindset, gained through directly relevant project experience.
Design level building energy modeling (non-engineering) preferred.
