The Analyst will work across both sustainability and clean energy engagements, contributing to internal workstreams and client deliverables. The role offers the opportunity to work on impactful consulting projects across various areas, primarily focused on behind-the-scenes work; however, there will be opportunities to participate in client meetings to build consulting skills and subject matter fluency.

Scope includes a range of projects across sustainability strategy, greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory development, decarbonization and net-zero planning, supply chain decarbonization, renewable energy procurement, market research, and compliance with evolving disclosure frameworks. Analysts will regularly use Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI to support client deliverables and internal collaboration.

This is a Hybrid position in either Boston, MA or Dublin, OH with the expectation of working in the office 1-2 days per week.

This role requires the ability to work standard business hours within the Eastern Time Zone (ET) to support cross-regional collaboration.
Responsibilities

Support client engagements with a focus on sustainability and decarbonization strategy development, including net-zero goals and Science Based Targets (SBTi), climate transition plans, and renewable energy strategies.
Support technical advisory to clients, including through the development of greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories (scopes 1, 2, and 3), Inventory Management Plans, climate scenario modeling, and other relevant topics.
Support supply chain decarbonization initiatives, including data analysis, supplier engagement and communications, and program development to address Scope 3 emissions.
Support sustainability compliance readiness, including performing ESG materiality assessments, and climate risk and opportunity assessments.
Support advisory and procurement services for renewable energy and carbon procurement, including VPPAs, green tariffs, onsite solar, and energy attribute certificates (EACs).
Conduct market fundamentals and policy research to inform strategy development.
Create compelling, client-ready PowerPoint deliverables and Excel-based models and tools.
Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes, and contribute to Trio thought leadership via proposals, whitepapers, or internal tools. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and global colleagues to support project delivery and knowledge-sharing.

Desired Background

1-3 years’ experience in the sustainability or clean energy field with a clear trajectory of increasing ownership over tasks and deliverables; consultancy / professional services experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, Environmental Science, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
Demonstrated working knowledge and practical application or project contribution in two or more of the following areas: sustainability program development, GHG inventory accounting (GHG Protocol), decarbonization strategy, sustainability goal setting (SBTi, Net Zero, and others), stakeholder engagement, climate adaptation and risk, renewable energy, environmental reporting, and climate-related disclosures and leading global and regional reporting frameworks.
Experience working with complex data and leveraging Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and other programs to manage and analyze large datasets.
Experience using enterprise sustainability software platforms, i.e. loading data, generating calculated emissions, producing visualizations and reports, etc.

Sustainability Coordinator

The Sustainability Coordinator conducts policy analysis, program design and evaluation, and community engagement. The role conducts work under the direction of the Village Manager’s Office, in close coordination with other Sustainability staff, Environment & Energy Commission, community partners, and other Village departments. The role will include engaging diverse community members and stakeholders and facilitating active public participation in environmental initiatives.

Energy Engineer

Sustainability Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Logistical Support, the Sustainability Manager develops and implements Pechanga Resort and Casino (PRC) sustainability programs, which seek to reduce the organization’s negative impact on the environment through ecologically, economically, and socially sustainable practices. The Sustainability Manager is responsible for the leadership and the development, implementation, and management of all Recycling & Environmental programs/activities within PRC. This position works to create and execute strategic steps that expand and support our environmental sustainability vision.

FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops a strategic plan identifying key gaps and opportunities in the areas of solid waste management, energy and water efficiency, emissions, and integrated pest management.
• Works with Management to develop overall approach to sustainability as a business practice and promote its implementation throughout the organization.
• Conducts ongoing management of PRC sustainability program.
• Standardizes Recycling Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or updates current SOP’s for any changes that are required across PRC.
• Tracks, calculates and analyzes key sustainability indicators including but not limited to, energy & utilities usage, number of material pulls, monthly waste by category and weight, and overall recycling progress as it pertains to internal sustainability metrics and invoicing, and water usage.
• Researches, develops and maintains relationships with current recycling vendors (and/or other waste provider) to determine if material can be recycled, audits their processes to ensure compliance and appropriate accounting/invoicing. This may include executing RFQ for alternatives vendors when needed.
• Suggests and advises potential revenue streams with regards to our facilities that may be outside of production materials including facility related environmental factors such as energy, waste water or other environmental factor.
• Implement a comprehensive waste reduction & recycling program, including non-hazardous waste, recycling, employee engagement, vendor and service provider selection and management, staff education and training.
• Develops key performance indicators to monitor and assess progress towards achieving company goals.
• Develops and assesses viability of strategies meant to support conservation, increase usage of renewable resources, or reduce energy costs or wasteful output.
• Review and improve the accurate collection and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual solid waste & recycling program data
• Communicates and presents program to a variety of internal and/or external audiences, ranging from employees to facilities executives
• Researches and stays current on industry trends and related regulatory issues in order to enhance the program, educate and train team members.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure that sustainability efforts have a limited impact on productivity or quality standards.
• Ensures compliance with environmental laws and regulations as outlined in the Pechanga Tribal Gaming Compact and applicable Tribal Ordinances

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree BA/BS in Environmental Science, Business, Public Administration, or related field, from an accredited four-year college or university required. Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of six (6) years of directly related work experience is required. A combination of education and experience may be combined in lieu of BA/BS degree.

Sustainability Officer

The Sustainability Officer manages a portfolio of initiatives and projects in support of the University of California, Riverside Office of Sustainability which includes close coordination with the Academic Sustainability Faculty Lead. The Sustainability Officer reports to the Campus Architect/Associate Vice Chancellor for Planning, Design, & Construction (PD&C) and is responsible for assisting in positioning UC Riversides as a national and global higher education leader in sustainability. The Sustainability Officer is responsible for supporting the development of a collaborative organizational model that assists the Office of Sustainability to creatively address campus sustainability priorities local, state, national, and international challenges through campus efforts. The Sustainability Officer is a strategist that is knowledgeable in the following areas, but not limited to, academic and research infrastructure, environmental protection, economic stability, social equity, energy, climate change, water, waste, transportation, procurement, food systems, and green buildings. The incumbent provides recommendations that drive formulation and execution of organization sustainability strategy campus-wide through initiatives. The position assists to oversee sustainability management, policy, innovation, brand reputation, and program development & assessment. The Sustainability Officer will work to foster partnerships across the academic and operational areas of the university to continue to develop UC Riverside as a living laboratory for sustainability. Primarily the position will establish an effective communication strategy and manage data collection for sustainability planning and reporting. Manages data collection for AASHE STARS, Sierra Club Green Schools, Princeton Review Green College Guide and other organizations, along with managing all submittals to these organization and to the University of California, Office of the President for system reporting. Senior Planner – Sustainability

The Senior Planner works under the direct supervision of the Senior Energy & Sustainability Program Manager and is guided by higher level positions on a frequent basis. The Senior Planner may also supervise Associate Planners and planning student interns.

This position will split their time by supporting projects within the MORPC Sustainability section and providing planning assistance directly to Central Ohio communities. Examples of community-based planning may include assisting with sustainability, energy, climate, or water resources planning, along with conducting other day-to-day activities of local government planning. When not providing community-based planning assistance, the Senior Planner will be supporting key regional initiatives, such as Sustainable2050, air quality monitoring, water resources planning, climate and electric vehicle planning, and other agency programs. Director of Sustainability

This Director of Sustainability role will focus on sustainability initiatives for Xbox hardware. This role will drive cross-functional alignment, technical execution, and business impact across carbon accounting, zero waste strategy, repair business models, and sustainable product development. This role will partner closely with hardware engineers, devices operations, Legal, Finance, and Corporate and Gaming for Sustainability (G4S) teams. The ideal candidate will have consumer electronics hardware background, deep program-management expertise, basic finance understanding, a systems-thinking mindset, and a passion for driving environmental innovation at scale.

The Director of Sustainability excels at navigating ambiguity within highly matrixed organizations and brings a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional technical programs that deliver measurable business and environmental impact. This role requires someone who can influence across multiple teams and disciplines without direct authority, and who can synthesize technical, business, and environmental perspectives into clear, actionable strategies. A systems-thinking mindset is essential.

Executive communication and stakeholder management skills are critical, along with financial acumen that includes experience in COGS modeling, OpEx/CapEx tradeoffs, and sustainability ROI. The Director of Sustanability demonstrates analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.

A passion for sustainability and environmental innovation at scale is central to this role. Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, carbon accounting, and environmental compliance standards is expected.
