This senior individual contributor role will manage Boeing’s East Region utility accounts, identify risks, develop mitigation plans related to utilities infrastructure & reliability, and lead utility conservation initiatives. Director, Climate Resilience & Sustainability

The Workforce Development department of the Long Beach Community College District is seeking highly-qualified individuals to be our Director, Climate Resilience & Sustainability, who oversees and manages District-wide clean energy training programs and services including: the design and implementation of climate resilience programs aimed at preparing for, responding to, and mitigating climate change. The Director is responsible for creating sustainability initiatives, developing climate adaptation strategies, and promoting environmental education, ensuring alignment with the college’s overall mission and goals. The Director, administers and implements activity related to specific workforce development grants and special projects associated with climate resiliency and clean energy.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $99,000.00–$135,000.00. Job Description

Serve as technical and EHS expert for customer on hazardous waste and DOT regulations

As technical expert for the customer, provide consultation on best known practices for appropriate disposition of all types of waste.

Plan and schedule scrap/waste shipments at customer site, to ensure internal deadlines are met

Ensure shipments are completed in a compliant manner (e.g. all items packaged, marked and labeled properly, paperwork meets regulatory requirements, proper DOT transporters are utilized). Ensure all local, State, and Federal requirements are adhered to.

Assist with waste characterization of various waste streams

Work with on-site teams daily to monitor waste and recycling programs and maintain swaps and pickups as needed.

Work with customer teams on special projects as needed.

Participate in weekly team planning calls; benchmark and share experiences with other program managers at similar customer locations.

Participate in customer calls and meetings as necessary for implementation of onsite program.

Maintain and update shipments in company systems for forecasting and billing purposes. Collaborate with customer service, billing and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience.

Sustainability Data Scientist

The Sustainability Data Scientist will be responsible for developing, implementing, analyzing and interpreting complex datasets related to environmental impact, resource usage, and sustainability initiatives. Zero Waste Program Manager

The Town of Brookline is seeking an innovative and mission-driven Zero Waste Program Manager to help lead and grow its community-wide sustainability efforts. Reporting to the Environmental Health Supervisor within the Department of Public Works, this position oversees daily operations of the Town’s ambitious zero waste initiatives. This includes managing programs in recycling, composting, waste reduction, education, volunteer engagement, and regulatory compliance.

The Zero Waste Program Manager will serve as a key liaison between the Town and state agencies, community organizations, contractors, and residents, while also supervising staff, interns, and volunteers. The role requires a blend of project management, data-driven planning, public outreach, and environmental leadership. Job Summary:

The Environmental Specialist is part of the EHS+QT Department located in the Dallas corporate office. Work with Environmental Manager to ensure compliance with local, County, State, and Federal land use and environmental entitlements, laws, ordinances, regulations, and standards for solar, wind and battery storage projects both under construction and operational. Additional functions may include tracking and/or preparation/development of compliance documentation for reporting to government agencies, financing institutions, stakeholders, and internal management; preparation of applications and procurement of environmental permits; development of compliance plans; preparation of training materials and training of operations staff; participating in diverse technical teams including internal experts and outside consultants; and auditing to ensure compliance systems and plans are effective.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability initiatives into company practices
Support the preparation of environmental reports and documentation for compliance with regulations
Conduct research on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices

Participate in the creation of environmental policies and procedures
Conduct environmental audits of operational sites to ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and permit requirements
Conduct environmental audits of construction sites to provide additional oversight of SPCC and SWPPP compliance
Participate in turnover of project sites from construction to operations
