THIS POSITION: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE, INDUSTRIAL INNOVATION & CARBON MANAGEMENT

The Administrative Associate provides essential support to the Industrial Innovation & Carbon Management (IICM) program by managing communications, logistical, and administrative tasks across multiple projects. This role includes preparing newsletters, organizing meeting materials, tracking event registrations, and maintaining budget records. It also provides direct administrative support to the Vice President of the IICM program and assists senior staff with programmatic initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across teams effectively.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Prior administrative experience of two years or more. Experience using Mailchimp, Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs is preferred.

Deputy Director

We foresee a one-year ‘apprenticeship’ as Deputy Director that can evolve into taking over as Executive Director from our founder.

Environmental Education & Community Outreach Coordinator

Summary of Duties: Under general supervision, the Environmental Education & Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for presentations, programs and activities for schools, community and civic groups and businesses. Responsible for supporting and coordinating a variety of environmental initiatives as needs arise, including data analysis, grant application and management, and large-scale project coordination to advance City sustainability and operational goals.

Project Engineer – Energy

Resource Innovations is seeking a Project Engineer – Energy (YL1726) to join our office in Chicago, IL. Partial telecommuting permitted up to 3 days/week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for conducting technical engineering reviews and inspections of energy efficiency projects in alignment
with standard Energy Efficiency (EE) program guidelines.
Review comprehensive energy assessments/audits for commercial and retail customers.
Perform energy efficiency calculations by using spreadsheets.
Oversee energy efficiency inspections.
Coordinate the day-to-day aspects of inspection including customer communication, scheduling, and inspection assignments. Responsible for overseeing inspection QC process.
Communicate with subcontractors, customers, and clients on high-incentive projects, reviewing equipment and specifications to ensure they meet program requirements and timelines
Manage measure design tasks, develop and review energy savings calculations for different baseline and efficient equipment, and review technical work papers.
Investigate and identify additional opportunities and energy efficiency measures to expand portfolio.
Create and maintain a sustainable method for inspection forecasting and inspection goal tracking.
Provide technical assistance to other teams when clarification about technical topics is needed.

Energy Efficiency Outreach Specialist

We are seeking someone located in the Yakima Valley or Tri-Cities region. This individual will support, train and assist electrical and mechanical contractors, distributors, manufacturer representatives, and other market actors collectively known as trade allies. We train them to propose, sell, and complete energy-efficient commercial and industrial (C&I) projects within local utility programs. They will also work closely with key C&I utility customers to support energy efficiency projects with a focus on customer satisfaction. Relationships with and the motivation of trade allies, customers and program partners are key elements of the position, which requires regional travel. Program Director

The Southeastern Wind Coalition (SEWC) is a non-profit coalition of industry, academia, partner NGOs, government, and utilities working to advance the land-based and offshore wind industry in the Southeastern U.S. We take a business-minded and economically focused approach to building the case for wind energy, including the wind supply chain.

SUMMARY

The Program Director will be an integral part of both internal and external organizational management; crafting and advancing SEWC’s program and policy priorities, leading internal operations, assisting with organizational strategy and funding development. The Director will manage staff career development, maintain and build new relationships with important stakeholders, and direct other high level business of the organization. Depending on location, this position will build and lead various outreach and education efforts, either directly or in conjunction with Program staff. Clean Energy Organizer

Position Overview: Our Clean Energy Organizer will work directly with those on the frontlines of clean energy deployment: the regulators who shape resource planning, the developers who install large-scale and distributed clean energy, and the community members most immediately impacted by the climate crisis and the clean energy transition. This position will work to deploy community solar projects, identify low to moderate income households interested in clean energy and connect them with state solar programs, and advocate for large-scale wind projects to move forward on the railbelt. Additionally, this role will engage with the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) as it creates an Integrated Resource Plan, finalizes regulations for the newly passed community solar program for Alaska and will engage the community on other regulatory dockets including rate cases and net metering regulations. While this role is focused on tracking and engaging with regulatory bodies, community engagement is a crucial piece to ensure that diverse perspectives are incorporated throughout the process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of Alaska climate and clean energy policy and clean energy systems, including an understanding of the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) and the Railbelt Reliability Council (RRC).
