Coordinator, Dealerships

The Coordinator supports various Clean Transportation programs that contribute to CSE’s mission to decarbonize. The role will focus on dealership marketing, education and outreach for various clean transportation projects. Focus will be on the ground or in person outreach efforts to support CSE’s portfolio of transportation programs but may expand into other areas as needed. Coordinators will be responsible for educating and engaging target audiences about the benefits offered through CSE’s programs.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a future with sustainable, equitable and resilient transportation while gaining valuable knowledge and skills in a high-growth industry.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Dealership Outreach

Lead dealership education efforts through in-person visits and coordination of training sessions.
Support training Outreach Coordinators in dealership engagement.
Support launching and collecting surveys from dealership engagement activities and programs.
Identify key accounts and build/maintain relationships with dealerships in assigned territory and nationally.
Represent CSE and client programs while creating engagement opportunities at all dealership sites and approved dealership community events.
Coordinate needs for dealership site visits and training, event participation, including negotiating booth location and cost with event organizers, contract management, logistics (transporting collateral to/from event locations, and setting up/tearing down displays), and any other needs that may be required.
Oversee inventory of all outreach materials, monitor supplies (re-ordering and repairing as needed), and organization of those items (quality assurance).
Identify key accounts and build/maintain relationships with dealerships in assigned territory and nationally.
Manage dealer contacts using Salesforce by entering outreach interactions with partners and stakeholders including but not limited to phone calls, emails, and in-person visits.

Partnership Outreach Follow-Up

Ensure effective follow-up with contacts are made.
Assist in the creation of email templates to be sent to stakeholders and event attendees whose email addresses were collected.
Create communications that reinforce key outreach messaging and encourages stakeholders contacts and event attendees to take action.
Increase website traffic and create extended outreach opportunities through dealership and event follow up communications.
Address frequently asked questions and partnership issues.
Track partnership and event outreach metrics (i.e. event attendance, volume of collateral distributed, number of quality conversations completed for internal/external reporting purposes.

Partnership Developments

Participate in the development of new, regional partnerships that will assist in meeting program goals.
Primary stakeholders and partners: Dealerships, New Car Dealer Associations, transportation groups.
Assist in maintaining relationships with dealerships and partners, ensuring they have materials they need to disseminate to their respective audience/customers.

Sustainability Analyst

Resource Energy (RES) provides highly customized energy procurement and energy use and data management solutions to many of the world’s largest commercial real estate companies as well as commercial and industrial businesses. At RES, we develop and implement energy strategies that reduce expenses, minimize, and manage risk, leverage our experience and data to optimize energy use and manage greenhouse gas emissions, report on best practices in sustainability as well as generate profitable revenue streams for our clients. These strategies include power and gas procurement, energy data collection and calculations, sustainability analysis/reporting and multiple other energy related services.

Resource Energy is seeking a motivated Sustainability Analyst with a background in the built environment or a related industry. The Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for the development and preparation of sustainability data and metrics for clients’ commercial real estate investment portfolio, with a focus on energy and water consumption. The Sustainability Analyst will also coordinate with RES sustainability and energy analysts who will support the Sustainability Analyst in all aspects of clients’ ESG program data management, development, and implementation. This role will support and report to the Manager of Sustainability. The RES sustainability team works with clients’ ESG taskforce and/or ESG leader daily to develop and assist in all aspects of sustainability from corporate level strategy development to portfolio level ESG reporting to property level sustainability implementation. This is a full-time opportunity to apply your enthusiasm for sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies to support national clients in a variety of industries.

You will work closely with our clients who range from industry leaders on the cutting edge of sustainability and ESG program implementation, to organizations just embarking on their sustainability journey.

Working with the Manager of Sustainability and internal RES technical teams and resources to develop and execute overall client strategy, program design, and implementation and lead program implementation including securing client buy-in and approval, tracking, execution, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, program evaluation and refinement.

The Program Manager will manage the BU branch of the Clean Energy and Environment Legacy Transition program (CELT), a new initiative in collaboration with the state of Massachusetts, the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML), and other university and industry partners. Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Position Summary

The Policy Associate will play an integral role in advancing MEEA’s policy activities at the local, state and regional levels. The primary tasks of the role are legislative and regulatory tracking, as well as assistance on policy projects. The Policy Associate will report to MEEA’s Policy Manager. • Tracking regulatory and policy developments in MEEA’s 13-state region

College Intern – Sustainability Carbon Accounting and Reporting

Intern Position will support the Sustainability Policy and Programs department in performing carbon emsissions accounting, reporting, and documentation to facilitate tracking progress toward SRP’s 2035 Sustainability Goals.

Applicant must have a strong ability to dissect complex datasets and concepts and be capable of documenting their approaches, a willingness to work collaboratively across multiple departments to solve complicated problems, and a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do

Within this role, the intern would be expected to support the sustainability team in the annual collection and reporting of carbon emissions and other sustainability-related data from across the company to include in public reports, inform executive-level dialogue, and integrate into a software platform.

Tasks could include data collection, reporting and analysis, process documentation, relationship building, research, and project coordination. Additional support will likely be needed outside of carbon accounting to assist the sustainability team in other project areas and gain exposure to other core sustainability functions at SRP.
Education
College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

Climate Action Leader Intern

The Office of Sustainability’s (OOS) climate team primarily coordinates the City’s efforts to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions and to make Cambridge a climate resilient community for all. The team oversees implementation of Cambridge’s Net Zero Action Plan, which lays out a path to reach net zero emissions from buildings by 2050 or earlier, and the Resilient Cambridge Plan, which identifies key strategies for adapting and preparing for climate change impacts on infrastructural, environmental and social resilience.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Cambridge Climate Action Leaders Program trains local residents to lead conversations on climate change in their communities. The program will recruit participants, train them, provide presentation resources, and support activities in the community that increase awareness about climate change and engage residents and others in taking action. The Climate Action Leaders Intern will be responsible for coordinating with the Office of Sustainability’s climate team, other departments, and consultants to support the Cambridge Climate Action Leaders Program to expand community involvement in climate action.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruit and work with previous Climate Action Leaders who are interested in taking on a mentoring role with this year’s cohorts.
Assist with training Cambridge Climate Action Leaders and support the project team with recruiting climate leaders and coordinating with the program consultant.
In alignment with OOS’s communication team, may create and adjust program materials, collateral, and other resources.
Support Cambridge Climate Action Leaders as they schedule and organize outreach and other types of events in the community by assisting with scheduling and delivery of resources (e.g., printed materials, AV equipment) and overcoming obstacles (e.g., venue scheduling, advertising, etc.)
Organize and run opportunities for the climate leader cohorts to engage with each other throughout the program.
Maintain the program webpage.
Assist the program consultant with evaluation, including coordinating with the program consultant.
Assist with recruitment of future participant cohorts.
Organize and run the Climate Action Leaders celebration.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:

Some experience with community engagement and outreach
Experience in website maintenance; OOS will provide training on necessary background knowledge to perform duties and to use City tools (e.g., website software)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

It is not necessary to have in-depth knowledge of climate change issues although some familiarity would be helpful.
A passion for issues and ideas in the fields of climate change, environmental justice, clean energy, environment, and/or community engagement
Willing to be nimble and creative in responding to the needs of local Climate Action Leaders
Comfortable with public engagement
Ability to be self-directed with guidance from City staff
Ability to remain flexible and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Standard office environment. Fluorescent lighting, heating and air conditioning. Moderate noise level. Some outdoor events. Will have to engage with partners via Zoom or Teams. This position may be eligible for hybrid work under the City’s Telework Policy, depending on operational needs.
