Senior Manager, Climate Resilience & Sustainability

Building on track record of pioneering and implementing innovative climate resilience solutions, the Clinton Foundation is looking to bring on a new Senior Manager, Climate Resilience & Sustainability at CGI. This role is charged with leading the development of relationships with a network of domestic and international organizations committed to advancing environmental sustainability and tackling the climate crisis, which are implementing community-specific programs around the world.

The Senior Manager, Climate Resilience & Sustainability, will support the development and maintenance of a portfolio of Commitments to Action (CTAs) to address specific climate challenges both in the US and globally. As CGI continues to expand its work in the climate and sustainability space, the Senior Manager will be charged with identifying, recruiting and forging partnerships between and among a wide range of organizations committed to advancing climate action, including domestic and international businesses, philanthropic institutions, government agencies, and community-based organizations.

Successful candidates for this role will have a strong background in environmental sustainability, or climate change, with a specific focus on renewable energy transition and sustainable urban transformation. Candidates will have a global perspective, a large professional network, and be excited to engage in challenges facing a diverse set of constituencies in the US and around the world. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Climate Resilience & Sustainability while working collaboratively across various CGI and Clinton Foundation teams on systems and processes for internal and external engagement.

Core Responsibilities

Lead the development and growth of a diverse community of organizations focused on tackling the climate crisis – with a specific focus on renewable energy transition and sustainable urban transformation – and support them in developing Commitments to Action (CTAs):

Lead the development of a portfolio of CTAs focused on specific climate action solutions: renewable energy transition, building decarbonization, urban disaster risk preparedness, mitigation and adaptation.
Proactively build and manage a pipeline of target organizations to join the CGI network, attend CGI events. Examples of target organizations include Fortune 500 companies, large philanthropic institutions, innovators, and other organizations with a stake in advancing efforts in tackling the climate crisis.
Manage existing CGI partnerships and CTAs related to renewable energy transition, building decarbonization, urban disaster risk preparedness, mitigation and adaptation on an ongoing basis.

The Department of Geography and Environmental Studies in the College of Science and Engineering at Central Michigan University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sustainability beginning August 2025. Sustainability Assistant (Part-Time)

The City of Hartford is seeking a part-time Sustainability Assistant to facilitate and administer community projects related to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability in the community. The Sustainability Assistants will report to the City’s Sustainability Director in the Office of Sustainability and Office of the Chief Operating Officer. The Sustainability Assistant will support a variety of activities related to the implementation of the City’s Climate Action Plan, City Plan and much more.

Director of Sustainability

The Director of Sustainability and Recycling (DSR) will provide leadership and coordination to Dillard’s various administrative and co-curricular sustainability efforts. Through a collaborative approach, the incumbent will connect various campus resources and the work of key stakeholders to maximize Dillard’s impact on reducing waste and supporting green initiatives. The incumbent will facilitate student involvement in sustainability initiatives; serve as an advisor to sustainability-related student clubs/organizations; and ensure collaboration between all constituents and appropriate offices. The successful candidate will also develop intentional marketing methods, including print and social media, and update the college’s website with sustainability information. In addition to these responsibilities, the DSR will also serve as a resource to the chairpersons of Dillard’s Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee; collect data and complete annual reports, including greenhouse gas inventory and climate commitment progress reports; and serve as a campus advocate and educator around sustainability initiatives, to include consideration of curricular and co-curricular approaches to educate students about sustainability efforts.

Climate Resilience Engagement Associate

The Climate Resilience Engagement Associate will join Charles River Watershed Association’s (CRWA) growing Climate Resilience program team to engage watershed residents in advancing community-driven stormwater and climate resilience projects and climate-smart policies across the watershed. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of environmental justice, education, community engagement, and advocacy while learning about climate adaptation strategies.

This is a full-time position that reports to the Senior Climate Resilience Associate. This position is a hybrid remote/in-office position located in CRWA’s Boston office. Fully remote candidates will not be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and lead community outreach events, workshops, and educational presentations for diverse audiences, to advance CRWA’s mission and projects in partnership with residents and other organizations

Attend public meetings and participate in climate planning and advocacy efforts that build resilience across the watershed
